DPAC Repertory Classes
Tiny Toes: This 30-min class is designed as a fun, movement exploration for children, up to age 3, to complete with their moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas or anyone wanting to share this experience with their little dancer. The use of creative movement and sing-along songs allows each child to develop motor and coordination skills in a fun, structured environment. This class is a perfect opportunity for babies to get in on the dance fun before they are old enough to join class on their own for more dance instruction.
Cutesy Cruizers: This 1 hour class for dancers ages 3-4 is designed for children to explore the basics of both ballet and tap. Our goal is for them to recognize their own individuality and body mobility. We want them to begin to see their potential while focusing on rhythm and coordination in a safe and fun environment.
Fierce Flyers: This hour and a half class for dancers ages 5-6 is designed for students to study ballet, tap, and jazz. Our goal is for them to learn new steps and techniques in a safe environment while believing they can do anything they put their minds to.
Tiny Travelers: This exciting hour and a half class open to dancers ages 7-8 is designed for children to deepen their knowledge of dance and strengthen their coordination and rhythm. We will focus on vocabulary, proper execution of movement, and memorization while also having fun and acquiring a lifelong love for dance. We will study ballet, tap and jazz for 30 minutes each during class sessions.
Jazzy Jets: Developed for dancers ages 9-12, we give the option of ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary. Each class is 30 minutes in length. We focus on proper technique and movement while developing a strong self-confidence to help all dancers realize they can reach any goal they set their mind to.
Mighty Movers: These classes are for students ages 13 and up. Ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical/contemporary are the styles of dance offered to dancers in this age group. Classes are 45 minutes in length with the exception of ballet which is one hour. The focus is on dancers improving technique, properly enhancing movements in various styles of dance, and building a strong self-confidence to help dancers better perform on stage and in their everyday life.
HipHop: HipHop levels 1, 2, and 3 are designed for each specific age group to learn and grow on their level. These classes are for dancers who want to learn proper hiphop technique all while having fun and becoming their best self.
